Jeff Smith and Gary Mawson came on the show Wednesday night to talk about their upcoming trip to the PDC’s Q-School. This is an opportunity for players not yet playing on the tour to obtain their very own tour card. The object? Win as many legs as you can and make it to the top 16. Easy? Not a chance! With players showing up from the BDO (Dave Chisnall won a tour card through Q-School), the field is guaranteed to be a major challenge. Jeff and Gary did not show a hint of worry as we chatted them up on the show. We also talked to Gary about his upcoming trip to play in the PDC’s World Cup of Darts with Darren Young representing the United States. This tournament has been one of my favorites since I last saw it with its interesting format and team play. As soon as Jeff returns from Q-School, we expect him back on the show regardless of the news on January 25th live at 9pm EST on Darts Underground to give us a little insight into his experience. I’d also like to announce our next round table episode on January 18th where we will be talking about this sudden appearance of a PDC Pro Tour in the US.
