He also has to attract all levels of players, if just professional players show up you can't pay the bills. There has to be something for everyone. Sponsorship is tough here (Va. Bch.) because one of the biggest things that darters buy (beer) sponsorship and signage is restricted by local laws. Sponsors want to know what's in it for them. We have to have high numbers for registration to make pay-out. Chris has found a way to keep that balance and steadily grow while trying new things. This is going to be a more gradual attempt plus with all the new advantages in communication and the growth of supporting organizations to improve the player base as well as the “fan” base here in the US, we are clearly headed in the right direction. Soon, we hope to create a directory of places all around the world that feature a dartboard aka "The Mona Lisa". Obviously, I found the tournament locator to be quite the project but I think we can create a page for each country where they will be able to keep up-to-date info so that a traveler in their region can find a dart bar with ease.
